I was always told that red is also a color of power – one should wear red when wanting to dominate – however with this post and reading Rori’s tools could it be that this “power” reflects in the power of a woman when she wears red? I have found.. that wearing my red dress. I always have the most fun….This was many years ago… I would be asked to dance all night
in my red dress…. remember” Lady in Red” song.
I am in sales… and when I was ready to make the sale… I always would wear red.. as if
somewhere I knew … it was magic color…
I need to buy more red…!! how fun !!

That is an absolutely hilarious piece – great find. I love red too but had no idea that was the key to getting a man to spend more $$ on me. LOL. Wait, I should say “boy” … the study focused on college-aged kids, not “men” as I would define them. Ah well.

I always get compliments when I wear red. Going to an election party tomorrow, will be wearing red. I have a red dress with a little pink on it, and that dress seems to drive men insane. I literally have been stopped on the street when I wear that dress. I need like 5 of them or some variation.

Hahaha That is hilarious. I can’t imagine that it’s true, and yet … red is one of my absolute favorite colors to wear going out. I have red cashmere, red leather, red crystal earrings, and a little red blouse that feels great on. I feel sexy wearing it, the color alone is so vibrant that it makes me feel alive. The curtains in my bedroom are red, so is the bedspread, and I’ve had guys say my bedroom is very sexy. So who knows maybe there’s something to it …
