    Daria you are funny 🙂

Im sorry I missed the offer. Money is so tight for me because unable to work due to my health condition. Wondering with someone in my situation could the Modern Siren help me? I dont feel datable because of my physical condition and it has been 4 years. Some of you may know my story for past posts. Dont feel like rehashng. I want to feel beautfiful and desirable again. I used to feel this way before this happened to me. Now men dont compliment me and treat me as a friend and just talk about other women. The same men who used to think I was a catch. I know my self esteem has suffered. I know that my health conditoin is so overwhleming that I cant imagine anyone wanting me. I know that I know longer look beautiful but I still pray that somebody out there must think Im loveable. I pray that somebody still wants to love me. Im living at home with uncompassionate and unloving family. I feel desperate, the need to be rescued and I think men sense this. Can I still be a modern siren with all these limiations?

Hurting, Yes! You most certainly can be a modern siren in your condition! It’s a lot about massaging our self-esteem! I love the word-pictures Rori uses for visualizing ourselves as water, air, etc! It’s about realizing our inner beauty!

A wise man once told me when your road’s at an end, you just hang on to hope anyway, and that’s when a new road begins.

You can still walk tall. You just move a little slower now, that’s all. Slow enough to notice the beautiful and small.

Those are a few words from a song. Do you know who Joni Earickson-Tada is? Google her! She broke her neck while diving at age 16, and she has spent decades in a wheelchair. She paints with her teeth holding the brush, and she has a daily radio show. She travels around and talks to people.

Can you reference which post(s) you originally told your story, so we can understand your situation better?

    Daria,

That’s cool about practicing compassion to an electronic post! Better that than to an electric fence! Ouchie!
