Time Waltz – Rori Raye Love Poem

Untitled design (14)

The sun moves too fast for me sometimes.

I forget what it was to do I was going to do,

Forget things waltzing on.

Waiting for something can be something.

Waiting just to carry one second

Onto the next, building seconds for myself

Out of the air, summer breathes summer in my neutral ear

While I wait for fall, having just discovered spring.

Though I feel on the other side of mind’s earth

You do the same, in the same late fall, busy yourself

Holding back on the seasons,

Every once in a while when I’m really open

I know we’re wasting time away,

Wasting away.
